Ruby red colour, vinous, hints of ripe fruit, a dry taste with a fine, intense aroma, moderate acidity and a full body. It can go perfectly well with red meat, pizza and pasta.

Vinification and ageing: The term ” organic ” refers to a method of farming that allows only the use of natural substances with which to fertilize the soil and control pests .
This Barbera is the first wine project wine regarding organic farming of our produce. Biological farming means above all working in harmony with nature and constantly seeking new technical solutions that can produce grapes of exceptional quality while drastically reducing the environmental impact. With this technique, the vine itself strengthens its self-defense mechanisms, and production yields are reduced in favor of higher-quality grapes. The BIO is designed to enhance the synergy that occurs, every year differently, between the Earth, the microclimate, the vines, the vineyards and the latter’s management. In a single word: Terroir. The energy conveyed must be preserved in the cellar, enhancing the intrinsic characteristics of the grape , without any “foreign” element. To achieve which, for the production of this wine, a preliminary, small amount of grapes are harvested, pressed and placed in the best conditions so as to trigger spontaneous fermentation . This “quantity” goes to make up the “pied de cuve” (yeast starter) for what will be, after three or four days, the large-scale harvest and the transformation of sugars into alcohol, exclusively thanks to natural yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is then a spontaneous consequence. The wine undergoes a series of rackings and attentive care until bottling . All this happens without the addition of sulphides in any form!
